EXTENDED CLOSURE PREIOD: CUSTOMER UPDATE

Cumberland Council has confirmed that The Sands Centre pantomime and autumn events programme will not go ahead as planned.

The work programme for the removal of RAAC panels from The Sands Centre auditorium roof had to be extended after Storm Éowyn damaged the temporary canopy installed as part of the RAAC replacement. 

Following this recent instruction from the Council, The Sands Centre is working closely with local and national promoters to reschedule events originally scheduled between 1st September 2025 and 31st January 2026 to later dates in 2026, where possible. 

We kindly ask customers not to contact the Box Office directly at this time. Our team will be in touch with all ticket holders affected by these changes in the coming weeks with further details about their options.
