The classic, all-time favourite musical, set-in In Austria at the outbreak of World War II. Maria, a lively novice Nun, becomes governess to the seven children of strict widower Captain von Trapp, bringing music, love, and laughter into their home. As the Nazis take control of Austria, the family refuses to support the regime, and escape by hiking over the mountains to freedom, leaving behind their home but carrying hope and courage.
