Stairs

We have one flight of stairs to get to the first level.
There is a hand rail either side which is made of metal.
There are 2 flights of stairs with a small landing in between. Both flights are made up of 12 steps.
The depth of the steps is 380mm

Lifts

We have 2 lifts.
You can get the lift to both floors.
Lift to Most Floors
The lift doors is 901mm wide.
The lift is 1.09m wide. The lift is 1.4m deep.
The lift’s display’s the floor number at each level.
The lifts has braille underneath the number for each,
The lift says the floor number at each floor.
The lift gives you access to all areas of the building. This includes, the restaurant, bars, café’s and different entrances to the theatre.
The lift has a large mirror on the back wall and has grey reflective surfaces on the other walls. It has 4 small hand rails on either side of the lift. The lift has 4 bright spotlights and no music is played in the lift.
The floor is PVC Non-Slip

Box Office/Information Desk

Public Toilets Ground Floor

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors.
From the main entrance there is access level to the ground floor toilet. The toilet door is 1.05m wide.
Customers can use their phone camera to enlarge the menu.
There is 1.14 gap infront of the toilet. The toilet seat is 600m high.
The toilet is 1.87m wide and 2.12m deep.
There is a horizontal grab rail on the right of the toilet and a vertical grab rail behind on the left. There are two small vertical hand rails next to the mirror and one horizontal grab rail behind the door.

Public Toilets First Floor

There is a public toilet for disabled visitors on the first floor which can be accessed by the two lifts on the level access.
The toilet door is 1.02m wide.
There is a 1.26m gap infront of the toilet and the toilet seat is 500mm high.
The toilet is 1.73m wide and 2.2m deep.
There is a horizontal grab rail located to the left of the toilet and a vertical grab rail behind on the right. There is also vertical grab rails on either side of the mirror and a horizitonal one on the back of the door. There are baby changing facilities within this toilet.

Places to Eat and Drink

Riverside Bistro

To get to the table, there are not steps.
The width of the entrance to get in is 2m or above.
There is background music that plays throughout the ground floor level.
The width of the route is 1.36m wide or more.
Diet needs can be catered for – i.e diabetic, vegetarian and gluten free. More information can be provided into ingredients and menu items.
The bistro is adjacent to one of the Riverside Bar. The nearest accessible toilet is located just across the corridor from the Bistro.

Riverside Café

From the main entrance there is level access.
Diet needs can be catered for – i.e diabetic, vegetarian and gluten free. More information can be provided into ingredients and menu items.
There is seating directly opposite the café area. There are table’s and chairs opposite and then around the corner there is a mixture of table’s, chair’s and sofas.
The height of the counter is 850mm
The café route is 4.5m wide.

Riverside Bar (Ground Floor)

From the main entrance there is level access to the two bar’s downstairs.
The height of the downstairs bar is 1m tall. (Wheelchair user service area available on the left hand side of the bar)
There are wireless card machines that can be handed to customers.
The bar route is 4.5m wide.

Riverside Bar (First Floor)

From the main entrance there is level access to the bar upstairs.
The height of the bar upstairs is 1.1m tall. (Wheelchair user service area available on the left side of the bar)
There are wireless card machines that can be handed to customers.
The entrance to the upstairs bar is 4.4m wide.
The route gap is 4.5m wide.
The tables and plate have contrast colour.
