Essential Companion Ticket Policy

Purpose

We want everyone to enjoy our events to the fullest, and this includes making sure that our patrons who need a bit of extra help have all the support they need. Here’s everything you need to know about getting and using Essential Companion Tickets with us. We also to ensure safety of the individual in an emergency, where a companion is essential to meet this need. The aim of an essential companion ticket is also to facilitate the independent escape of those with access needs as far as possible in the case of an emergency. This includes but is not limited to; escape in case of a fire, associated fire safety measures, or safety in the event of an emergency evacuation.

Eligibility

Who is Eligible?

Essential Companion tickets are intended for customers requiring additional support due to disability-related needs. This must be significant and in excess of what could be reasonably expected from family or friends already accompanying you. These tickets also work on the principal that you and/or your nominated companion are responsible for your own escape, which will be facilitated by the building management. This implies that you also have a responsibility to co-operate with the provisions of your own escape plans.

If required, the venue can provide you with a non-specific Personal Evacuation Plan.
